Praesens attends the INSEAD Health Forum at ChangeNOW Summit

Updated: Feb 18, 2021

Praesens Foundation was honoured to attend the Annual Forum on Health hosted by INSEAD and the Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society at the ChangeNOW Summit that was held at the Grand Palais in Paris on Friday, 31st of January 2020.

A healthy population is an engine for economic development and social progress, yet half the world still lacks access to basic health care services. The UN Sustainable Development Goals address this need through SDG3: Good Health and Well-being, which aims to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”. Meeting the targets associated with this goal is important for improving global health. Moreover, innovative healthcare solutions are compelling business opportunities.

Our founder Dr. Rudi Pauwels participated in a panel led by Prof. Luk Van Wassenhove, Director of the INSEAD Humanitarian Research Group on Improving access to medicines: Developing country supply chain and logistics and demonstrated that real-world solutions exist and need to be scaled. Together with its academic partner, Praesens Foundation was proud to be part of this new moment driven by Heroes of Change that use their force for good and maximum impact in the world.
